Who we are
Bongo Cat Wiki is an independent, fan-made wiki covering everything called Bongo Cat: the open-source desktop pet by vladelaina (bongocat.pet), the free Steam game by Irox Games, the open-source project by ayangweb, the Bongo-Cat-Mver predecessor, and the original meme by @StrayRogue together with the bongo.cat web toy. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.
Why the five-way split matters
Most sites and videos blur these products together. Every page here states up front which Bongo Cat it is about, and our versions explainer keeps the differences in one table. Facts from one product are never used to describe another.
Corrections
Tracking pages are re-checked regularly and corrections are applied with a new fact-check date. This site also publishes a Chinese edition at /zh/.
Three labels, used literally
- Official sources: published by the developers themselves: Steam store API data, project READMEs and releases, official websites.
- Partially confirmed: confirmed in part or reported credibly but not on a first-party page. We state exactly what is known and flag the gap.
- Pending confirmation: not announced or not verifiable. We say so plainly.
What we refuse to do
- We do not invent drop rates, item names, prices or release dates. If no source exists, the page says so.
- We do not provide auto clickers, hacks or school-filter workarounds. Our policy page explains the reasoning instead.
- We do not mix facts between the five products. Linux support belongs to the open-source versions, never to the Steam game.
Data we collect
This is a static website. No accounts, no comments, no forms, no personal information collected by the site itself.
Cookies & analytics
We use Baidu Analytics and Google Analytics for aggregate traffic counts; neither service identifies individual visitors to us. Third-party sites you follow links to have their own policies.
