Why people search for this
In the Steam game, items drop as you type. From there the arithmetic is obvious: if drops come from key presses, a machine that presses keys ten thousand times a minute farms items while you sleep. The demand is real, the tools exist, and the search volume proves it.
Our policy
We do not provide, host, mirror, review or link to auto clickers, macros or any other automated input tool for Bongo Cat. This is a standing editorial rule for the site, not a mood. The rest of this page explains the reasoning and offers the legitimate routes instead.
The reasons, in order of weight
- It defeats the product. The Steam game's entire design is typing as play. Automating the input removes the game while keeping the process running, which is the definition of the behavior platform rules exist to catch.
- Account risk is real. Automated input tools sit in the gray zone of platform rules, and decisions about what crosses the line belong to Valve and the developer, not to us. We will not promise that a specific tool is safe, because nobody outside those two companies can.
- Tool downloads are a malware channel. Small popular games attract fake "macro" downloads that are just installers. Even a clean-looking tool is a binary from an unknown publisher on your machine; our safety page explains why we apply strict standards to exactly that category.
- The payoff is mathematically poor anyway. Look at the official odds: 90 percent of drops are Common, and a Legendary is one in 500,000. A clicker changes the rate of rolls, not the odds per roll.
What to do instead
- Play it as what it is: a background toy. The achievements milestone at 10,000 presses arrives faster than you think during normal work and chatting.
- Buy the cosmetics directly. Five paid DLC packs exist precisely so you can skip the lottery; that is the legitimate shortcut the developer built for you. Names, US prices and current status are on the items and skins page.
- Want the cat without the game? The desktop pets and the web toy deliver the gimmick with no economy at all; the versions table picks between them.
